• In 2010, the Municipality of Cordova, out of its loan proceeds from the Landbank of the Philippines constructed the RORO Port in Camolinas, Poblacion, Cordova, Cebu. Since then, the Port has become a jump-off point for boats towards the small islands of Mactan and to Bohol. To date, there is an average of two (2) trips per day from Cordova to Jetafe and vice-versa.

 

• Cordova is the first municipality in the Province of Cebu to have established and run a tertiary school. The Cordova Public College was established in 2005 with only sixteen (16) students. After a decade, Cordova has grown so much with a school population of one thousand (1,000) students. It is recognized as one of the local colleges with the highest passing rate in the Licensure Examination for Teachers.

 

• The Cordova Public Hospital which is intended to be annexed to Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center (VSMMC) is under construction. It is located in Pilipog, Cordova, Cebu.
